SUMMARY
application launcher and all of its alternatives especially application
dashboard hangs and has slow search.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
0. most noticeable when freshly restarted or turned on the pc
1. change launcher to application dashboard
2. search for an application
3. it will stop and hang.
OBSERVED RESULT
hanging and slowing down
EXPECTED RESULT
smooth search without freezing
