SUMMARY
There's currently no way to change date format in the digital clock without
restarting Plasma. I wish Digital clock could immediately react to the change I
make to the date/time format in the Formats KCM (or alternatively there could
be a Digital clock-specific configuration dialog where one could change the
format.)
Use case: I'm using US formats/locale, but prefer writing date in the
YYYY-MM-DD format to make it less ambiguous for people across the globe. The
Japanese format is pretty close and I will use it for now for date/time only.
