In snap, rendering won't start as per https://askubuntu.com/questions/1344526/kdenlive-snap-version-doesnt-render-in-ubuntu-18-04 and https://www.reddit.com/r/kdenlive/comments/gu0wz4/rendering_anything_gets_stuck_on_waiting/. Use official kdenlive PPA ( https://launchpad.net/~kdenlive/+archive/ubuntu/kdenlive-stable) or AppImage instead.
