Users need to be notified of the state of their system at all times. For this
reason, I think when shutting down or rebooting Plasma, after selecting to
bypass confirmation screens, also needs to inform the user of the state of the
system. This can be done with a fade out animation and a message in the center
that says "shutting down" or "rebooting". That way the user is not "janked" out
of the desktop so quickly and they can follow the progression of their actions
through informative prompts.
