I have been using Ubuntu 22.04 LTS for a long time and Discover worked just fine. Some time ago I upgraded to Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS and maybe I have the issue since then. I would suspect that apt remove plasma-discover followed by apt install plasma-discover would put everything back in place.
