Bug ID: 464845 Summary: Search field for the classes Classification: Websites Product: bugs.kde.org Version: unspecified Platform: Archlinux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: templates Assignee: sysad...@kde.org Reporter: horvathg.1...@gmail.com CC: she...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Hi, when I make a bug request I have to specify the type of the application/framework/whatever, the bugs corresponds to. The problem is, that I don't know how to find it in the multiple categories/groups. This one was obvious (website/bugs), but I have no idea where is sddm. For newcomers, who doesn't know how KDE works, it is a terrible burden to know if something is a framework or an application. At least, that is what I think. My proposed solution is a search field that helps with this, not unlike the one in System Settings, however I'm not sure if the web site engine can be extended with such capability. If it is possible to change the layout from the two stage choice (first chose the group and click on it, this redirects to the next page where one has to choose the component), into a tree structure (if possible at all with the engine), it may be easier to search, without increasing the visual clutter. Just an idea, but may help a lot with the UX. Best regards, Gergely -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
