STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use wrap around mode (Shift + w)
2. use any selection tool, mark part of the main image in the middle and part
of the repeating outside
3. move the selection
OBSERVED RESULT
Only the part from the main image is moved anything that is in the repeating
part is empty.
