Bug ID: 467848
Summary: Saving legacy Text blocks in nightly changes display
size
Classification: Applications
Product: krita
Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!)
Platform: Microsoft Windows
OS: Microsoft Windows
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Tool/Text
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
openning files in Krita krita-nightly-x64-5.2.0-prealpha-d722ed8729-setup will
display text blocks much closer to the original size (the error is very small)
but despite that if no change is made and you hit save with what you have the
text will scale up or down on the document despite having the same font size
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. create a document in krita 5.0.0 or krita 5.1.0
2. create a text block in a vector layer
3. save KRA file
4. Open KRA file in the nightly build
5. Use text tool to open the editor but make no changes and hit SAVE
OBSERVED RESULT
Text block display size will shrink or scale up I think depending which version
you saved the original file in despite the text having the same font size.
EXPECTED RESULT
Saving to display the same result as when I opened the editor because I did no
changes to the text
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10
Qt Version: 5.12
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
this is somehow related to another bug when creating files in 5.0.0 and 5.1.0
as they also have size differences between them.
