With the new DigiKam 8.0.0 it now segfaults reliably when previewing videos.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open DigiKam
2. navigate to collection of videos ( In my case 100mb/s 4K video)
3. Preview a couple of videos in quick succession.
OBSERVED RESULT
DigiKam segfaults reliably, crash log attached.
EXPECTED RESULT
No segfaults while previewing videos
