We're not focusing on copying other applications. And I'm sorry, but this isn't a useful kind of wish bug -- in general "make krita look like the app I'm used to" isn't very useful for us. Redesigning workflow is long process where we want to be really careful. Check https://krita.org/en/item/ways-to-help-krita-work-on-feature-requests/ for some thoughts about making feature requests. This isn't even a matter of us not having time to implement all the features found in all other applications, because not even a working patch would be enough: the workflow and user experience first needs to be discussed, considered and designed.
