SUMMARY
I installed Plasma on Arch a few days ago and hit Meta + .
(I was actually surprised about it worked on Linux since I was a Windows user.
You guys are fucking amazing!!)
The emoji selector opened, but instead of emojis, it showed squares. Then I
found this discussion from 3 years ago:

I installed noto-fonts-emoji but I think it would be better to add this as a
plasma dependency, so it will work out of box.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install KDE Plasma on Arch
2. Hit Meta + .
OBSERVED RESULT
Emoji picker showing squares instead of actual Emojies because of missing
noto-fonts-emoji package
EXPECTED RESULT
noto-fonts-emoji should be installed automatically with plasma
