I speak for digiKam now. I also don't see a logo when I open the images with
Gimp and leave the color profile on sRGB. If you deactivate the color
management in digiKam with F12 as a test, you will see the logo in all images
(recreat the thumbnails with F5). So set a monitor profile that covers the
color space.
