SUMMARY
After a reboot, there is no login screen, only a mouse cursor that I can move
around. The workaround I found was to drop to a terminal, login, then type
startplasma-wayland. This starts my plasma wayland session correctly and from
then on is exactly the same as it was before I updated to plasma 6.
-I saw other similar bugs that suggested pressing escape twice, but this does
not work for me.
-https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=481308 is similar, but I am on wayland.
-I tried modifying the lock screen settings as suggested there to no avail
-Also tried changing the theme from breeze to some 3rd party theme and that
also has not worked
-This issue is related to the screenlocker; however for me, after logging in
and starting a plasma wayland session from shell, the screen locker works
correctly. It's only upon reboot that I have this problem (something to do with
autologin?)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
-I am having a very similar issue that I will probably submit a separate bug
report for on Plasma 6 Mobile. There, I can see the login (which given that its
a phone, is the keypad) and I can type in my pass and login; but after that it
goes to a black screen. The startplasma-wayland workaround *does not* work
here. Instead, I've found that at the black screen, I can open a terminal with
Ctrl+Alt+T and launch applications directly from there. The mobile desktop
never appears.
