1. launch Discord with this command:
$ GTK_USE_PORTAL=1 discord
2. open the dialog used to send a file to a contact
3.
OBSERVED RESULT
file open dialog of KDE opens with title "xdg-desktop-portal-kde". Please see
the attached screenshot.
