Hi all!

To celebrate and commemorate KDE’s 25th anniversary, we have put together some
great fireside chats that will occur online in the next couple of weeks.

The KDE e.V. Board
Aleix, Lydia, Eike, Adriaan and Neofytos are the five KDE volunteers that run
KDE e.V., the foundation that supports the KDE Community in all organizational,
financial and legal matters. In this fireside chat we sit down with the five of
them to talk about KDE’s history, achievements and where they think KDE is
headed. We will also dive into what it means to support the KDE Community for
almost 25 years.

Oct. 15th @ 18:00 UTC
Jeri Ellsworth
Jeri Ellsworth will share stories of working on challenging engineering
problems that range from chip design, rockets, robots, toys, video games and
augmented reality.

Oct. 23rd @ 15:00 UTC
Massimo Stella
Where Kdenlive project is going and what to aspect from it on a short and
medium term.

Oct. 25th @ 17:00 UTC
Matthias Ettrich
25 years ago Matthias Ettrich started KDE. He sent a famous news group posting
asking for developers to join him and build the Kool Desktop Environment, a
desktop environment and applications for endusers built on Qt. Now 25 years
later we chat with Matthias to talk about how KDE started and what became of
his vision from 25 years ago.
