Probably because the original developers of Indico were told that it's mandatory for the original use case (e.g. for visa letters for those old- school in-person meetings we used to have in the past ;-) ). Simply select Antarctica or some other country and get over it. And write an MR for Indico which makes this question optional. Regards, Ingo
