I guess 2 could be solved with more commits rather than changing the
commits though.

In my personal opinion. the moment we adjust our workflow from a good one (rebase locally, force push) to a worse one (with commits such as "fix missing semicolon") just to work around an ACL setup of a git hosting, we're doing things very wrong.
