Hi all, I'm not sure this is right place for the question, and yet I'm bumping into a number of inconsistent linguistic behaviours, so I'm asking here.
Situation: I'm an expat, I live in country X, speak language Y. I set my preferred language(s) in the settings, and, obviously, the country I'm located in. From then on, I almost always get the interface in my preferred language, the help in the language of the country, and random parts of different programs also in the language of the country. Am I correct in believing that there is no unified way to determine the language, so different software parts may choose different strategies?
