my opinion is that the second panel is not a good idea, at least not as shown in the screenshot. reasons: * the icons are not immediately obvious in function, but there is no room for text * they do not line up with the list items which makes the whole dialog look messy and probably puts requires cognitive load to process visually * they will not be used frequently, but are always shown if filtering is a must (i’m not personally convinced it is, but ok :) then i would suggest perhaps putting them in the bottom drawer that expands when clicked on. they could appear there as a horizontal row of icons which can be selected? -- Aaron J.
