There's no reason those apps that are being maintained in extragears can't have entities in general.entities The only consideration is that the apps themselves may not want to additionally define it in their own doc, so that they are not dependent on a current version of kdelibs. For this specific example, amaroK and Konversation are very popular, integrate with other KDE apps, and are likely to be mentioned in other docs (the user guide, for instance) so putting those two in kdelibs would be a good idea.
