That's accurate.
With this in mind I have no objections, and would suggest to use
Frameworks/6.24 as branch name.
There's one question that needs figuring out though: Should the branch
be enabled for translations? Technically that shouldn't be much of a
problem, but it's worth discussing whether this is a good use of
translators time and energy.
I don't believe there's any intention to backport string changes (per
the normal bug fixing string freeze policy), so this should be fine.
