Hi! I wanted to let you know that I rewrote thread handling in Kdenlive. Now, we use a maximum of 3 concurrent threads (to create the audio / video thumbnails and query a clip's info). I also just added a check in Kdenlive that will dynamically increase the cache size for avformat_producer to the number of tracks + 4, so we should hopefully be safe on that side.
