Sorry, I find HDV is problematic, at least the footage from my Canon
HV-20. I do not have a solution for that. This thread is about a
regression between MLT v0.7.8 and git head, and more specifically with
AVCHD (MTS file mentioned in subject). Are you claiming there is a
recent regression in support of HDV or just poor support in general. I
know all too often how people jump on a thread, especially one about
a/v sync, and just say "me too."

Daniel, I reproduced the problem with the sample you provided, and it
was indeed due to the commit I mentioned (Apr 1). I reverted that
commit tonight.
