Hi all,
My kdenlive versions always crash when I quit the program. I always use the file->quit option to close kdenlive nicely. Untill now I did not pay much attention to that as kdenlive is reasonably stable during use. So I do not consider this high priority, but as jb is fixing things at high speed again I thought I mention it to the forum. Maybe it is a very simple thing to fix, maybe it is something in my configuration. This "bug report" is valid for Kdenlive versions: 0.4 package from mediafire, 0.5SVN self compiled 04/02/2007, 0.5svn of 16/02/2007 and 05.SVN from 17/02/2007 (16:00 CET) used on Kubuntu 6.10. My Kubuntu is at least twice a week updated/upgraded (apt-get update; apt-get upgrade). Also using fluxbox, ICE-wm or ICEwm-lite as window manager doesn't make any difference (as expected, but you never know). It always crashes with signal 11 (SIGSEGV). It does not matter whether I: - Start kdenlive and immediately quit - Start kdenlive, open a project and quit. - Start kdenlive, open a project, do some changes, do not save and quit. - Start kdenlive, open a project, do some changes, save the changes and quit. - Or work for half an hour (or so) and quit. The kde crashhandler always gives me the following output Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1".
