As Kmail downloads mail from POP3 servers by itself, it does not need fetchmail
or a fetchmail replacement. The tool you describe might be good for a mail
_reader_ such as mutt, but seems to duplicate a central function of Kmail in a
fashion that seems very problematic. I move to close this bug WONTFIX.
