In Comment #59 Thomas marks a bug as duplicate of this bug. I think you refer
to comment #58.
Maildir location also depends on account type:
- POP3 / local mails: ~/Mail (well on Gentoo ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail)
- IMAP: ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/imap
- DIMAP: ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/dimap
BTW I think index related bugs have not yet been fixed. With KMail 3.5.9 I
sometimes have it that it displays a mail as empty or does not complete a
delete operation - the line with the mail in the mail list is printed with
strike-through style and then nothing happens. I am able to fix up these by
quitting Kontact / KMail, deleting the index file and restarting it. Maybe
thats a different bug tough. I find it quite difficult to provide a pattern
that triggers the bug.
