When I upgraded from KDE 4.1 to 4.2.4 I lost Kontact because it was not
compatible with some lib. Yet, KDE 4.2.4 was reported as the stable version and
recommended for most users. Unbelievable! You lose the primary PIM app in KDE
when you upgrade to the most current stable and recommended version?
Recommended for who? For children? Adults use PIM and depend on its presence.
It is an absolutely critical package in KDE and should be updated defacto
whenever the next KDE version is being promoted on KDE's website! BAD PR!
Please pay closer attention to keeping the essentials up-to-date. KDE is not
just a gui. It's not just a look and playful plasma apps. PLEASE for the sake
of the serious users!
