After startup, kmail is not completely unresponsive but might take 30 seconds or so to react to a keypress or a click in its interface. This lasts for about 5 minutes, in the meantime it is giving my ageing hard disk hell :-( I sometimes do not enter the kwallet password, but even so the disk activity goes on. So it is not related to getting emails from my pop servers. The behaviour is definitely different from kmail kde 3.5.x For me and my wife, this bug is the worst one for kde 4.x, we are bitten by it every day... Must be the same for many other users. Is there a change we might fix this for 4.3 (or 4.3.1?)
