But I am willing to add $40 to the pot if *anyone* would show *any* interest in actually accomplishing this. I know my contribution by itself amounts to just about nothing but if I and 50 others did the same it could add up fairly quickly. The trouble is, I just don't believe that those who develop kmail are really interested in doing this. I have waited too long with no hope in sight. This "bug" has almost 2,500 votes which says to me it is something highly desired by the community. I do not believe that the developers are not skilled enough to do it. I am daily in awe of their skills. I just think they don't *want* to do it and so it is likely to never get done. While this disappoints me I must say that this is the world we have opted into. In an open source, volunteer driven development environment, those of us who are not developers must hope that our desires are shared by those that do develop. When they are not, we must seek solutions elsewhere, Kmail has potential to operate in a corporate environment. Until it grows up it will be relegated to the microcosmic world of the hobbyist. Perhaps the audience for this program *is* the hobbyist and it is *I* who am in the wrong place with wrong expectations. Either way, I want this and am willing to support it to the best of my financial abilities. It is admittedly not much in the scheme of things but with friends it could be.
