Sorry for the late reply, patches attached to bugs sometimes get overlooked, best is if you use git.reviewboard.kde.org to submit patches, see http://techbase.kde.org/Contribute/Send_Patches#Reviewboard. It would be really useful if you add a unit test as well, have a look at the existing ones in kimap/tests, they are easy to write.
