The patch itself doesn't look bad, but before committing I'd like to see the above (to know what was wrong in the old version). Also if I read the RFC correctly, for one GETQUOTAROOT command multiple QUOTAROOT responses may come (http://www.apps.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2087.html#sec-5.2).
