Tried restarting akonadi, kmail, and the whole system. No dice. It does however, show up in the akonadi console. Right-clicking on it in the browser tab gives me an option to create a folder, but doing so causes nothing to happen. After digging in the configuration tab, I found out that none of my folders were subscribed to.
