Hi all,

Back with some questions, this time around the LFC process.

We use a memfile backend and one requirement we have is to refresh the config
quite frequently, every 30min right now but looking to reduce that.

I believe that by reloading the config either via a service restart or via a
“config-reload” command, the LFC process will not run if our “reload config
timer” < “lfc-interval” set in Kea’s config.

Is it correct to say that the "lfc-interval” time, is based in the “reload”
time instead of “uptime”, as in seen in the result of a “status-get” command?

My second question is related to the “kea-lfc” cli. Running it directly
wouldn’t affect the running service, right? In other words, it would not
replace the “current” file that Kea uses to preserve the memfile’s contents?

Thanks!

– Diogo
