Just a heads up on the 2.0 release plans. We delayed RC2 by two weeks, but in the process gained a huge update to app-workflow! Check it out in CVS as well as Jeff's great XPDL/flow plugin for Keel (tool-redkeel). I'll let Jeff tell you what Red Keel is :-)
In any case, the current plans are these (please note CVS freeze):
- Unit and functional tests, although we don't have a large number, are all passing
- CVS freeze starting tonight to make sure we don't add new/changed functionality
- Please enter a SF issue tracker item for any issues that popup
- Workflow issue for error handling will be looked at and fixed (#840940)
- Persistence problem Steve reported will be looked at and fixed (#840821)
- Tomcat 4.1.27 versus .29 that Simon and others have reported is already fixed. (#840144) is already fixed
- RC2 build and release Monday night - November 17th
- 2.0 release on following Monday night - November 24th
As usual, please let me know if this is not suitable for any reason.
My plea to everybody again. Please download RC2 when it is available, and give it an "installation and use once-over", so we can identify any issues prior to the release.
