*Kirloskar Pneumatic Company*, part of the Kirloskar group announced a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 2.24 times to Rs 116.40 million from Rs 51.90 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter surged 40.28% to Rs 1,379.20 million, while total income for the quarter rose 39.80% to Rs 1,400.50 million, when compared with the prior year period.
