Manufacturer and distributor of cotton and synthetic yarns, Eskay K`n`IT (India) announced a substantial drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2008.
During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 68.61% to Rs 21.29 million from Rs 67.82 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales and the total income for the quarter rose 0.82% to Rs 1,822.16 million and Rs 1,822.68 million respectively, when compared with the prior year period.
