Well, it should have worked; I have no idea how you ended up with an old
version of wsapi.request. Maybe your local repository was in an inconsistent
state, or LuaRocks is not installing modules to where you think it is, and
the wsapi/request.lua in your /usr/local/share is from an older
installation. Perhaps you forgot to run luarocks install as root, and the
correct module is under tour ~/.luarocks?
