The problem is that
/usr/local/lib/luarocks/rocks/wsapi/cvs-3/src/wsapi/request.lua is
without overwrite as well.

No. I've just deleted my ~/.luarocks to be sure.

Perhaps I should reinstall system-level rocks as well?
