Hi, thanks for the reply. The line in my inetd.conf is (whitespace
compressed):

telnet stream tcp nowait root /usr/kerberos/sbin/telnetd telnetd -a none

I think I got it from a HOWTO. Anyways, the -a none should be starting
login to authenticate the user if krb credentials aren't supplied. It may
be a problem handing off to "login" but I'm not positive.
