I'll second that. Aside from the problems you have noticed with the
system while the replication is under way, if the slave is in use -
that is, it's mentioned in krb5.conf - it's increasingly likely that
it will be in real use as the load climbs. And when it's chronically
an hour out of date because it takes 15 minutes to replicate, you have
a usability problem that's going to drive the phone support nuts.
Easier said than done, of course.
