Those versions were never released by Intel to the upstream linux-
firmware repository. Generally Intel only pushes out the versions they
consider stable, so those versions might have been development versions
or otherwise unsuitable for general use, therefore we will not ship
these versions in Ubuntu.

by the drivers shipped in Ubuntu (and it actually tries to load them):
