My machine goes into a frozen black screen. The default kernel after the update (5.3.0-23-generic) does not succeed in booting. If I select the older kernel, 5.0.0-36-generic, grub does go through and succeeds booting up. System is a Dell XPS 15 9560 with Ubuntu Dual Boot. GRUB version 2.04-1ubuntu12. The Windows partition does work properly, and I am able to boot into it. Please advice on how to proceed with a fix, or if an update pushed to grub will fix this issue. Thanks.
