If Sun one day says: Java can run native on hardware, and these are the
APIs that handle hardware drivers, then everyone will use those APIs.
Unless we are quick enough to create a standard that Sun could use. But
I have a hunch that Sun is not omitting the pure Java PC, I think that
they will create something very big, but they are simply making sure
that large hardware firms will comply ad provide Java versions of their
drivers. This we cannot do, but we can look ahead and go with Sun's
waters...
