Some of the features I have in mind are aimed at guru
sort of work.
1) Sharing console between KGDB and the console
for a system that has only 1 rs232 port
- I have found I could not live without this feature
debugging ATCA cards.
2) double fault and and exception handling/passing
- This adds more protection to KGDB when using
internal single stepping as well as allowing
you to take and exception and pass it along
for debugging code where fault handlers are
involved.
Other stuff above this, could be considered as not needed,
but I think improvements such as HW breakpoints and debugging
the PREEMPT_RT issues are worthy fixes as well.
