Is an known issue, i've fighted with it on IRC with an user, seems that configure detects lzma.h from homebrew but is unable to use it. Doesn't happens with a clean machine. Seems that it founds in the path the executable but is unable to "find" the libraries or something like that.
Could you open a ticked adding config.log ? We have to investigate if is an homebrew issue or wx-widgets issue.
