I would suggest installing some flavor of Linux to begin with, native or virtual machine. Ubuntu or Mint is probably the easiest to start from. Development tools and libraries are way easier to keep in shape on Linux these days. Ofcourse Kicad-winbuilder will do quite the same for you on Windows. > Is there something that I can help with?
