Hi, yes, this patch/fix is included in the 3 wxWidget-patches mentioned in mac-osx.txt. Note, that it is not 1:1 the same fix, but AFAIK addresses the same problem (if building wxWidgets with those 3 patches doesn’t solve your problem, please tell).
