The default paths were using DEFAULT_INSTALL_PATH which is horrible because it'll never be right for our Windows builds. A nicer alternative is to use the environment variables as the defaults if they are set on that initial start. Not really critical, just a "nicer" default if its available. Who knows, maybe someone will delete the environment variables after the fact.
