Actually let's add #3 3. Github recently disabled http on the codeload domain. There are also users from back in the day that used KIGITHUB with http:// instead of https://. There are also users who used custom repos with http:// instead of https://. We currently keep the "http" scheme when querying codeload. Which now returns a connection timeout as the server doesn't even send redirects.
Yes I fixed that in my patch (simple 3 liens) No DNS issues that I know of basically.
