don't want to sound like a "are we there yet?"-like kid, but: What is
the status of the 5.0.x release?
I'm asking because we are planning the maintenance work on the 90+ EDA
lab computers at my university and this will include an upgrade of the
current KiCad 4.0.7 to version 5. If the release of 5.0.x is likely due
until the end of September, I'd hold off the upgrade to 5.0.0.
